4 Reasons to Attend Griffith University Open Day
If you’re considering university, whether you’re still at high school or finished years ago, attending Griffith University’s Open Day is a must. It’s a great way to get answers to your questions about the university and familiarise yourself with Griffith’s campuses, degrees and student opportunities in a relaxed environment. This year, Griffith University will open its doors on Sunday 12 August from 9 am – 2 pm and everyone is welcome. Here are four reasons why you should come join us.
Explore the campuses and facilities
On Open Day, you’ll be able to explore Griffith’s Gold Coast, Nathan and South Bank campuses.
Campus tours are available throughout the day and we encourage everyone to participate as the tours will show you what campus life is like and help you envisage yourself undertaking studies. Getting to know the campus lifestyle and all it has to offer will help you frame the right mindset before tackling study!
Scope your options and talk to Griffith experts
Tossing up on degrees and majors is common, and it helps to talk to an expert to explore your options and gain a better understanding of what’s on offer and what will best suit you. Information sessions in your particular area of interest provide the chance to experience what it’s like to learn in a university setting firsthand and to see your future lecturer or tutor in action. With over 240 information sessions and activities across the Gold Coast, Nathan and South Bank campuses, Open Day is a great way to find the information you need to make a decision about your future.
On Open Day, you’ll also get the chance to talk one-on-one with Griffith teaching and admissions staff, who can answer your questions – and perhaps give you insights on things you hadn’t even considered! And you can talk to current students to learn firsthand about their experiences at Griffith, along with tips and tricks for navigating student life.
Meet like-minded individuals
Open Day will be full of people just like you. Griffith will be offering fun-filled activities throughout the day which is a great opportunity to meet prospective and current students. Look out for activities such as the amazing library race and #Hashtag 3D puzzle.
