What’s on at Griffith Open Day 2018
Griffith’s Open Day, coming up on Sunday 12 August, showcases the wide range of opportunities at the University. As well as over 200 information sessions across the Nathan, South Bank and Gold Coast campuses, there are a wide range of activities, such as tours and demonstrations to check out to give you a taste of university life. Your remarkable future
11.30 am – 12.00 pm, Gold Coast and Nathan campuses
On Open Day, you’ll have the chance to hear from our Deputy Vice-Chancellors about how Griffith is preparing students for the workplace of the future.
The amazing library race
All day, Gold Coast, Nathan and South Bank campus libraries
Outline your own adventure around the libraries in our amazing library race available at each campus. Locate things around the library, answer some questions and there’ll be prizes at the end.
Go on a campus tour
Running every 30 minutes throughout the day from various meeting points on each campus
With campus tours running every half hour, this is a great chance to explore your study options and experience life on campus.
#Hashtag 3D Puzzle
All day, Gold Coast and Nathan campuses
This activity will allow you to laser cut and assemble your own hashtag symbol puzzle which illuminates light.
Gold Coast
The Gold Coast campus is our largest campus with more than 18,000 students studying degrees which almost spans across all disciplines.

Visit our state-of-the-art financial trading centre and learn using live foreign exchange data.
Creative and interactive media workshop: making things flash and beep
10.30 am – 11.00 am and 1.00 pm – 1.30 pm
In this unique workshop, you’ll be able to use microcontrollers to make things flash and beep.

With over 13,000 students, the Nathan campus is Griffith’s original campus situated on the edge of Toohey Forest, just 15 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.
Electronic engineering hands-on activity: Build your own electronic device

Build your own device and learn some electronic engineering basics.
Journalism Lab Tour
