Super Simple Student Study Tips
We spoke to students from all around the Griffith University Nathan campus to ask for easy tips that anyone can do to ensure they are being the best student they can be. Here are their super simple student study tips – try saying that 10 times really fast.
Ryan, 22 – Aviation
My tip for studying is sleep! Sleep is extremely important – it makes you much more effective at writing assignments and studying for exams when you’re well rested.
Caitlin, 22 – Marketing
Organise like a pro! Try and use all of the calendars online that you can, use diaries, set reminders – use it all so you can keep track of your assignments. Block out a week for you to go through the course website and plan your semester.
Samuel, 18 – Clinical Science
To really help with your studies go to peer assisted study sessions (PASS). Also, you actually need to go to lectures – even though it is tempting, do not slack off!
John, 21 – Business Management
Reward yourself – whether it be watching an episode of your favourite show, eating a choccy, or getting out of the house – do something to reward your hard work. It will stop you from going insane during exam time.
