Griffith Uni Open Day: Your Guide for Each Campus
Not sure how to plan your Open Day?
Whether you’re in high school, graduated, considering postgraduate study or just want to visit for fun activities then Griffith’s Open Day is for you? This Sunday, July 23, is all about giving you the best options for your future career. Did you know that Griffith even has a Foundation First Year for a range of degrees so you can test the water before you dive in?
Whatever you decide, come along to have some fun. What makes Griffith’s Open Day even more exciting are the cool activities on campus (you even see a drone fly) and could be in with a chance to win Fast Lane tickets to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Swimming Finals (score!). On Open Day, you can explore Griffith’s Gold Coast, Nathan and South Bank campuses.
Want to get a head start? Check out what study areas you might like.
And don’t forget it’s not too late to plan your day and personalise your itinerary, so you don’t miss out on the study areas you’re most interested in!
Griffith’s Gold Coast Campus is just minutes away from the beach (so you still have time to soak up some sun between classes). With exciting facilities across the campus including the Griffith Business School, the Griffith Health Centre and a new Aquatic Centre.
Be sure to check out:
- Paramedicine lab tour (departing every 30 minutes)
- The Red Zone (lots of interactive activities)
- Digital Graffiti Wall (also in the Red Zone)
- Aquatic Centre
- Science zone with wild life displays, plant giveaways and you can even make your own fidget spinner
If you’re interested in the environment, corporate sustainability, Asian studies and emerging biosciences, well then Nathan Campus awaits you. There are also a variety of new courses available at Nathan including Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Speech Pathology. The Campus is situated on the edge of Toohey Forest and it’s a short walk or bus ride from Mount Gravatt Campus, or a 20-minute drive from Brisbane CBD. Shuttle buses are available between Nathan and South Bank throughout the day.
Be sure not to miss:
Whether you’re interested in music, animation, photography, film or design or even business, South Bank is where it’s at. Is performing your passion? There is now a new Bachelor of Acting endorsed by Judi Dench, Joanna Lumley and Geoffrey Rush (yes you read that right). The campus is located in Brisbane’s South Bank picturesque parklands, right in the heart of the city’s cultural precinct. The campus itself encompasses the Queensland College of Art, Griffith Film School, art galleries, two libraries, a cinema, and state-of-the-art exhibition and performance spaces.
Be sure not to miss:

- Watch some of Griffith Uni student’s own films (If you’re trying to find direction in your life and maybe drink a little too much wine check out Double).
See you there!
