O-Week is full of fun activities and opportunities that will introduce and immerse you into life at Griffith. From informative sessions to plenty freebies and social events, the week is jam packed with fun to be had before classes kick off for Trimester One. Be sure to plan your orientation before arriving on campus and take a look at the top 5 activities to make the most of!
O-Week Market Day
O-Week Market Day is where the campus turns into a giant street market. Start your 2019 uni experience by soaking in the vibes – with entertainment and live performances by students, and product sampling amongst a crazy number of mouth watering stalls.
Griffith Mates provide a number of activities, including campus tours and fun group games throughout O-Week. This gives you a great opportunity to meet some of the friendliest faces on campus, as well as new people who may not be in your classes.
Clubs and Societies
O-Week is a great opportunity to take a complete look at all the clubs and societies on campus (trust me, you’ll be amazed at what’s on offer). The O-Week Market day won’t be short of stalls, with information that will help you decide what’s right for you. Join a club nice and early to makes some friends and get the most out of your time at Griffith!
Getting prepared for uni can often seem daunting and challenging. Along with O-Week, Griffith offers a variety of free workshops to assist you with many important skills needed for university study and lifestyle. Even before O-Week there is plenty of opportunities to prepare for uni with Griffith offering Early Bird workshops. Make sure to plan ahead and check out the workshops Griffith has to offer and register now!
Live Entertainment & Food
Hang out on campus listening to live music and enjoying food from a variety of food trucks. O-Week isn’t just about being introduced to your new classes, it’s about familiarising yourself with the campus and immersing yourself to uni life in preparation for the fun you are going to have throughout your degree. So, get amongst it!
Keep up with everything during the week on Griffith’s socials.
